Information for Speakers

The Conference Committee is grateful for your participation with us at Fundraising Day in Boston. All speakers and panelists are invited to take advantage of complimentary meals at the Marriott Boston Copley Place or 50% off the conference price if you would like to stay for the full conference. Please let us know of your choice by October 1st. 


What AFP will need from all presenters:

Permission to use LinkedIn as the primary source for your biography and headshot. Or let us know if you prefer we link to your employer’s website.

Permission to post your PPT presentation online. Please use AFP’s PowerPoint template and submit by Nov. 1st to info@afpmass.orgOr if you will not show slides then a quick note letting us know would be helpful in that case.



Speaker registration

It appears we may sell out this year, so if any speaker in your session wishes to accept the luncheon invitation we will want to know soon.

Hotel accommodations are available for a discounted rate of $309 per night plus tax at Marriott Boston Copley Hotel. - Cutoff date is November 7th at 6 pm

AFP will provide:

■ LCD projector
■ Screen
■ Remote clicker
■ Wireless microphone
■ AV Technician
■ Wi-Fi code
■ PowerPoint template (click here)
■ Sound/video test (optional). Sound tests will be conducted in Salon EF


Speaker will provide:

A laptop with his or her presentation already loaded.*

A 60-minute or 75-minute session (including time for Q&A). Length of your session is determined by the committee and confirmed in an email letter. 

*Please contact AFP if you are unable to provide your own laptop.

■ AFP will send you the session room name and session attendee list prior to the event.
■ Please arrive to your session room at least 15 minutes before your session to meet your assigned AFP volunteers and staff.
